Annoying Ads

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, ever since I've gotten on this forum almost every time I click on a member's link my page will redirect me to some annoying ad page called tracking.com or some other website with free apps for my iPhone. I know I don't have a virus on my phone because this ONLY happens on this website and it happens when I'm on the forums on my pc as well. Am I the only one or has nobody else said anything? Please help!

There are couple things you might need to do.

First of all you need to check if this is something that happens in all of your browsers. For example if it happens on internet explorer and google chrome. Then you might have a problem.

What you can try to do is to download the extension ADblock on the google chrome apps. Just google "google chrome adblock" Also download "popup blocker"

Say you download both and this doesn't help you will need to.1

1. Uninstall google chrome.

2. Go to control panel. -> Uninstall a program -> And now delete the programs you are definetely not familiar with. If you are having issues try to look at the date since this happend and uninstall the apps that are downloaded during or before that date.

3. Download Malware anti bytes and run a scan.

4. Install google chrome again.

We have ads on our website to help raise money for the hosting, just try not to click them or get ad block for your browser.

@Sp33dy20I understand having ads to make money but these ads will pop up and automatically redirect me to some random site telling me I made a million dollars haha. I will get that pop up blocker though and see where that takes me. Thanks!
