Unless I'm confused on what you meant, you can't fail to superheat iron. Rings of forging are only needed for traditional iron smelting.

I used to always tell people I started in 2006 because that was just my guess. But I recently remembered that the Halloween zombie head toy was from the 2005 Halloween event was my first holiday item I remember having. So shortly before Halloween 2005 is when I started. Good guide! One thing I would like to add is if the item you are looking for has two names, say both of them SEPARATING them by a /. Saying both names will catch people filtering for both possibilities. If the two terms are on either side of the / with no space separating them, the filter will treat it as one word. So say I'm selling a zammy page 1, I would say: "selling zammy / zamorak page 1 - ido" NOT "selling zammy/zamorak page 1 - ido" Most people probably already know this but maybe it will help someone.

Definitely try and get into slayer as one of your protected skills. Don't make the same mistake I did and go with agil thiev and herb lol.

I saw RoT hopping worlds there yesterday, they usually clear the world lol. If you're ranging it's a smart idea to stand outside the fence near the entrance. Cause they'll shut the gate on you if you're inside and run. Paladins in ardy castle, Fremmennik guards in Rellakka, chaos druids in yanille dungeon (with lockpick shortcut). Moss giants north of Ardy used to be pretty good as well.

Ok, so about three weeks ago, I was thieving Paladins in Ardougne for a while and got bored. Decided to use my new chaos runes to kill some moss giants. So I gear up and head out there to find it deserted, but with loot piles on the ground (OSBuddy item overlay). At first I ran my ass away cause I thought there were pkers still there (it was actually deserted). But just as I ran away I noticed Coins (65535). As most of you know, that's the maximum amount the item overlay can display. I got really excited thinking it must be like 100k or something . So I rushed over there, picked it up, and its NINE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN K!!!!! There was also full mystic there too. I was on Teamspeak with a buddy of mine at the time and just nerdgasming all over the place, which I NEVER normally do. The bad news? I cannot for the life of me find a screenshot of it. I am 99% sure I took like 10 screenshots manually with OSBuddy but I can't find them anywhere in the screenshots folder. So whether you believe me or not, it still happened! The worse news? I invested that, and the cash I had into a 1.3m Zammy page for the deposit box that is now sub-500k and I had no idea it had crashed This brings me to my question to you guys. Why the hell was all that loot there, and who in their right mind wouldn't at least CHECK the coin stack??? EDIT1: AHA! Found the elusive screenshot! EDIT2: Wow I had a lot of details wrong, I forgot I was actually doing a clue scroll at the time that involved going to tree gnome stronghold and that was why I happened to walk through the moss giants area. My bad.

If you have 50 agility (and 50 thieving? I think.) you can buy lockpicks from the rogues den for very very cheap and sell them like 700 ea on Zybez. Careful though, lots of pkers pass through Burthorpe.

Not technically a legit PK but Skill Specs misclicked on me a while back... Didn't get the key cause I didn't actually hit him with my weak-ass bone cbow auto retaliate LOL but I did loot his whip and a shitload of other good stuff as you can see from the random big amounts of stuff in bank. I was freaking out too much to get better screenshots. The best part is I saw him in bank and said "snake" and literally the millisecond the word appeared above my head he misclicked me. He begged me for some of his shit back which I know full well he wouldn't have done the same. I double name changed with my other account cause I was paranoid his fanboys would target me. 90% of that went into getting 94 mage (which I have now) so now I won't be a target! (PS RIP that zammy page, paid 1.3m for it now they're like 400k and I still haven't sold it...)

My God that's absolutely INSANE. That is almost I would quit RS in general if I died with that much... Hell that's almost as much as my regular 07 bank lmao.

I'm struggling with this same question as well. I currently protect my 59 herblore 70 agil and 92 thiev (I know, probably the worst skills to pick right?) I collect all my own herbs at the Yanille dungeon chaos druids using the lockpick shortcut but it's just too slow. I might just drop agility in favor of slayer and just re grind every death, hey maybe then it'll be more incentive to not die right? lol.
