Thanks for this
Been using it on my alt for my sharks.
Iv only been pked here like twice
Def beats catherby XD
Just sucks that its my alt and I dont have magic on it to house portal tele XD
Oh really?? How did they pk you? Just barrage on the docks? Still yet to see a skull here yet but i can see how it could happen. Most people wouldnt have armour ect here. But I always try to keep enough food to escape the dock if needed.
Glad to see people putting the guide to use!

Dammmnnn son that D med!

This method would be perfect for an alt account. Due to the extremely safe afk. Could make all the geepees!

100% legit. After reading it in front my confused family I told him how I still play, and about OSRS and DMM. He's going to start up a osrs acc and get back into it. So keen haha.

Welcome to Sword Riders guide to safe Fishing in Deadman Mode!
Hey guys! Welcome to my Deadman Mode Fishing Guide.
If you’re going to skill at all on DMM, fishing is one of the more useful ones. With the clans growing more and more, Catherby is being cleared quite regularly, driving the prices of food up.
Personally I only ever fish for a quick rebuild, or just to get some crappier food for training in/near safe zones. The main reason I fish is because it’s afk, and it’s one of the few activities I can do on Deadman while watching Netflix. Everything else requires 100% attention because of the dangers.
As most of you would know by now, Catherby is not really safe, and you can’t afk it. This is why Rellekka is the place to be for all things fishing. You can catch shrimp, sardines, herring, anchovies, mackerel, trout, cod, tuna, lobster, bass, swordfish, and shark, as well as seaweed and caskets.
Getting there:
Personally I have trained construction, so it is easy for me. One teleport and about 10 steps and I am in rellekka. I suggest training construction to 30 and moving your house to Rellekka. Most altars are there now because of it’s close proximity to a safe zone and it will make this method a lot safer/faster. However, as you can essentially train from 1-99 fishing here, you could do it all in one trip walking from Camelot.Whilst there are no requirements to fish, you will need to have started ‘The Fremennik Trials’ quest to deposit fish. You only need to talk to two people, in the town to get what we need.
You begin the quest by talking to ‘Chieftain Brundt’ in the bar east of the market. After speaking to him you then can talk to the Seer.
After initially talking to the seer he will explain that to go into his house you cannot have any items on you, and will offer to ‘magically transport’ them to your bank. This will transport all your inventory AND worn items as well.
ENSURE YOU DON’T ENTER HIS HOUSE
If you have entered his house already, you will have to do a lot more work for this fishing method. More on that later. It’s important that you drop any items you wish to keep such as food, harpoon/lobster pot/any armour or weapons before you speak to him each time. It takes 5 clicks of chat to get him to deposit your items.
I usually start my trips with 6 shark, a lobbie pot and a harpoon, and by the end I only have 2 sharks and a lobbie pot, as I get lazier and lazier as my trip lengthens. On the map below I have marked 3 rings. (Don't be too jelly of my paint skills)
Yellow: Peer the Seer – Our deposit method. Red: Lobster/Swordfish Fishing spots. Green: Shark Fishing spot
ONE IMPORTANT NOTE:
Rellekka is a safe zone. The only sections that are not safe are the docks, as soon as you step onto a pier it is a unguarded single zone. But you are a few steps from safety. This is why carrying food is important, in case of barrage. However, as of writing this I have trained 1-72 fishing here without seeing a single skull. And in that time I have only seen 5 or so other people fishing. Which is just insane. (Could be worth pking the shark pier, as it is safe af here, low levels fish, I have watched a level 20 fish and bank sharks for 4 hours, no mule)
Now, if you have completed the Seers portion of the quest, you can no longer use him to deposit items. The only way around this is to complete the Easy Fremmennik Diary – a link to this is down below.I love fishing at Rellekka for a few reasons. Dmm is dangerous when drunk. I can still fish here safely. It coincides well with Netflix. It provides me with food for training (for pking when I get to sharks) And when You mindlessly fish and watch movies for a few hours, it makes a decent steady bank.
I highly recommend this if you are studying, or can’t pay full attention to Runescape. Dmm is nearly suicide to afk, At least this way you can make some decent bank.

So my little cousin got me for our families secret santa this year.
Here's the card I got from him. He hasnt played RS in like 10 years and doesn't know how into it I am atm.
Cracked me up.
(The bottle mentioned was Southern Comfort; this is important to know because it's delicious.)

NoSerious now. Played since 2001 on and off of course. I loved when pking was everywhere in classics early days. Which is why I love dead man. I kiss sleeping bags. They were the bomb. And I really miss Elvargs original design:

The tags on this post killed me.

I've been playing rs since like 1990 tbh I am the Jagex.

What happened? You invited your mates to the ts an pked in the lobby or something? Or you pked in a different clan/friends teamspeak?
-
Support. As you said, as long as high ranks only have the power. Would be nothing worse than getting poked every time some noobs sees rot in someones name haha.

On my college internet for some reason it wouldn't let me connect to League of Legends servers, so I had to find a free proxy/vpn to use, and then it worked
Luckily for me I work in a private residence so i have access to two wifis, one for work and a client one. The client one has no restrictions. Not sure how they are monitored by our IT department yet.

Like the guide so far! One suggestion could be all people in the clan with a gilded altar (who agree to be listed) could be in a list at the bottom. In case someone who has access to the clan altar isn't online or can't be reached. Like for other time zones ect

Ac ripping it up once more. Can't wait to join!

You can turn it off in the settings in game guise

At the last home I worked at I had to watch a monitor to check on a client who had seizures. This was situated in the lounge room (not on the locked office)
I had my 3g data powering runescape in the lounge room. Getting those tired slayer gainz. At like 4am I went to take a shit.
Mid log I hear a door open. Panicked, tried to pinch it off but it was too late. Another client came in. Picked up my laptop and smashed it on the ground.
I was so pissed off the rest of the shift. So fucking bored. Plus i had 4 more night shifts after that and didnt have the cash for another laptop for over 2 months.
So much xp gainz.
Oh to make matters worse I'd just paid for 3 months membership earlier that week ffs.
Good times

Well done brother. I think I'm the last of the Wildings boys to get this done then! <3
