The R8 got nerfed to hell, no longer a 1 shot kill, kind of a shitty weapon now, better off having the deagle equipped.

I alched mind runes for 200gp loss because they're the cheapest rune from the store lol, if you want to save some money you could try and buy yew/maple longbows, I also managed to pick up over 1k air battlestaves in increments from a friend who was crafting them, I bought them for 9.1k ea and they alch for 9.3k so I didn't end up losing any money.
