  1. Did the same thing with my iron a couple months before i de ironed i but I had like 80m worth of shit from wyverns and barrows
  2. I would probably do something like that, except have people put the items in there inv until you build some trust.
  3. Have fun and be safe bro don't have any kids. Child supports a bitch in 2016
  4. Life priorities man, i'm in the same boat. But atleast you're doing well and hope it stays that way
  5. Lmfaooo good shit! It's going good so far. Tempted to buy some 3d models for a total of $300 , either that or spend 2 months making the damn things from scratch
  6. An RPG which will get networked into mmorpg with my own custom inventory system/craft system/farm system etc, custom items in the future when I actually have the time to setup an item database , wont necessarily have trainable skills like rs but for each class there will be a different variation of skill sets you can train The only way I could play it while working on my game would be to bot xP
  7. So, about 2 weeks ago I made a post explaining some plans that I had regarding a game i've been wanting to make. In these past 2 weeks I have gotten quite a bit done, and I think i'm going to stick to this plan and dedicate 90% of my time into it. This has been a dream of mine for a couple years and i'm actually making progress into making that dream come true, and i'm honestly proud of myself and excited in what the next year will bring for me and my game. I think i'm quitting OSRS for good, and only going to return for Seasonals & the tournament. I will only play a month, at max during the seasonal, and maybe a bit more for the actual tournament, because honestly $10,000 would benefit me a lot with my project haha. Another reason for this post is, I have a level 120 osrs account that i'm no longer going to need because i'm dedicating my time to my project. The email it is setup to comes with the account. It has very little wealth as is, and a few untradeables. I would rather use the money I could get for the account to put towards my project. If anyone's interested, 100% interested and not just trying to find a cheap account feel free to message me on here. I will still stick around the forums/Teamspeak when I can, just to touch base with everybody. I know a lot of people might not know me, but my experience with AC has been fucking fantastic so far. Stay strong fellas, #AC
  8. What i'm wanting in the game is, a third person MMORPG not just MMO that has capabilities into being a first person aswell. But that may just change into it being a 3rd person only because it may be hard to impliment the camera. I would like it to have raids , certain skill sets for classes and the ability to have dual classes EX; if you were to choose a warrior based character to start, as you get further you would be able to apply one other skill set to your character, like a druid/mage. I would like the main trading system to be integrated with the PoH system, i'm not sure about global trading like the GE on RS and stuff. As anyone that has played UO knows each class has a huge variety of skill sets, and a unique training system for the skills. But i would like mine to be more user friendly per-say. There will also be gathering skills & crafting such as; Collecting / Fishing / Cooking / Tanning / Herblore and more, trying to decide if certain skills should be applied to certain classes so there's incentive to play other classes. I should have a video up tomorrow or Friday showing the main architecture that i'm making that will influence the whole World. I spent atleast 3 hours last night trying to get a simple mouse view movement code to work x[) and get the physics of the playable character which is what will make it interact with the world, realistically. It will be a 3d game, unlike UO and older MMO's / MMORPG's.
  9. Although I might just use an integrated AI plugin before i can actually get positions/movements down flawlessly then add my own code over time.
  10. I would prefer Java, but as far as i know with Unity C# is the cleanest way to do it through there engine I could use java but i'd have to import all of the coding seperately, rather than being able to just do it right the the engine. EX; If I was to make a non player NPC and was to use java, and i had a lot of prefabs/objects in the map already i'd have to go through every individual folder just so i can apply the code to the Object. But in Unity the have a panel that lets you do it right there, so much better & faster
  11. I agree with everything you said 100%. Weirdly enough my inspiration for this comes from a man who attempted to make an Ultima Online type game and had a dedicated staff(mostly volunteer) and actually go donations but he just simply couldn't make it happen and a lot of people criticized him by saying he stole everyones donations, but he just simply didn't earn enough or have enough resources/knowledge to make it happen so it went down the drain. I have been brainstorming / writing down ideas for programming/story line etc on paper now for a while but that's just the easy part. It could happen , it could fail horribly. I think it would be more of a Ultima Online(3d version) mixed with Path of Exile which is a steam game that has a crazy skill tree and that's what the game's based off pretty much. Most games are about getting the best weapons/armor etc but I think a good game, is a game where you put time into the skills of your character and having the variety available to make that happen. But like you said there is already so many games out there that are actually produced by corporations to imitate nostalgic games but I think most of them haven't ever played the game's they're comparing to to themselves. It's definitely going to take some time and dedication and a hell of a lot of $$. I mean I'm definitely not a rich kid but I don't really have to be to start out, if i can prove I'm dedicated and get in with the right people, a simple email could be a life changer. I definitely have a lot of work to do before I can prove anything at the moment. Haven't even scratched the surface. But thanks for the support man, very self encouraging
  12. Hey guys, hope everyone is having a great day! Disclaimer; This post is NOT runescape related. Intro; Over the past couple months in my spare time, I have been venturing more into the programming/coding/design/and business parts of gaming. I have no professional experience in these fields per-say, such as college/internships etc.. But you have to start somewhere. In these past months I have vastly increased my knowledge of software such as Unity, C# , and photoshop., as well as various plugins for Unity that enable you to make a game you made into allowing multiplayer (mmorpg). About 10 years ago I started playing a sandbox MMO called Ultima Online. Popularly known as the first MMORPG. And as time went on, people veered away from the game because of updates/toxic player base and simply outdated technology. This game, aswell as runescape, made my childhood much more enjoyable. And as time has progressed, so has gaming. There are still a lot of old-style sandbox games out there the reenact Ultima Online, but none satisfy my need. I am contemplating on majorly reducing my Runescape play time and my job to chase a dream that may seem impossible to a bunch of people, but that doesn't stop me from trying to accomplish my goals. The Project; I know a lot of people might think this is a waste of time/money/resources, and you have the right to that opinion. The project i'm wanting to start is pretty much re-creating a game similar to Ultima Online in a lot of ways, but also very customizable in a lot of aspects to fit it into todays generation of gaming. This game is completely started from scratch using Unity 5.3 as the game engine and c# as the coding software. Not all of the game will necessarily be from scratch, such as assets & 3d models(mostly the terrain of the world) because you can simply buy them from the Unity store, and recreate them as you want. Although i would like the GameObjects and GameObject coding to be from scratch so there are no flaws from the get go. What i would like in this game are; Crafting, player owned housing(different from Runescape) , Dungeons, Quests/dailies(as time progresses), PvP , PvE , A very detailed leveling system, custom classes/dual classes , there's so much more I would like to see in this project and it would be much easier to explain to the person/people that would be willing to help, if any. Basically I want an open world MMORPG that brings the nostalgia of Ultima Online back, and it is a farcry I know. What I posses; What I would bring to the project is all of the software/servers needed. I have the resources to get an actual commercial license through Unity, which is very expensive. I would like to host all of the files/models on my own computer and servers/cloud that I own. ( Not going to go into details about the hardware i posses at this time ) I will purchase most/everything that is needed to make this dream into a reality. I'm not looking for people who can code a simple RSPS, This will be a dedicated project of mine. The main thing I can bring to this project is my time & dedication. I have a job right now, and I have been saving money to make this dream turn into a reality for me( And anyone willing to contribute of course) but I have thought long and hard about this decision even though i don't have 30 years of college experience like everyone thinks you need. This project is simply a make or break situation and there are obviously no guarantees. I am not a seasoned professional of these services, but was the president born the president ? I will be dealing with programming/C# implementations into the game. And I will be putting in 10+ hours a day into this. What I need; I am not able to physically do this on my own. What I need is a couple individuals experienced in creating a website/forums , C# coding to the extent of making things work within the game, a graphic designer for logos/menus/ , most importantly i'm going to need positivity and faith with anyone who is interested in helping me with this. I am not asking you to dedicate all of your time into this like I will be, because it will take time and hard work. Benefits; 1) This is for the people, if anyone who is willing to help me. I am willing to pay actual money for assistance and/or RSGP , which ever is preferred by the individual. 2) Recognition. This specifically applies to the individual(s) that would be helping me. I am a very appreciative person to people who spend there time in helping me, and it will be very rewarding even if it does take time. Not just monetaryily rewarding, but emotionally as well. 3) I am going to start a gofundme to help with this. any contributions that don't go towards software/hardware costs will go to the people who have helped me with this. There's so much more I would like to add to explain my plans further, but i feel as if this post is quite long. Any opinions are greatly appreciated as this has been a big dream of mine as I have stated. I know this may seem like a waste of time, and if that is your opinion it would be greatly appreciated if you could explain why and what I could do to help further my dream. And again, i'm not just asking people to waste there time i'm asking people to help me with something that could very likely grow and grow and grow. Thanks for reading guys, and have a great day! Message me if you have any more questions/advice. Also, i'm most certainly not trying to take people away from the Runescape community.
  13. Str level on the pure ? How much were you looking to spend? I could swap a whip from my own account if trust is an issue. pm me ingame 'Ac Zulrah' or on here
